Wah-wer...

 I got my handwriting made into a font on www.kevinandamanda.com. The layout is by © ksharonk, 2008. Abby is talking up a storm! I wuv ooh. mommy-yah (we call her abby-ah in Korean which is why we think she says that now) up, down, sit, see. moon, stahrl (star), blue, red (wehd), green (guh-een), yellow (yeh-yoh) carhl (car), cha (car in Korean) ah-nah-nah (banana) geeeeeeeh (while motioning to draw-not sure how that translates to drawing) buh bye, hi, hello. I almost forgot the best one!!! She says O-BAH-ma (emphasis on BAH) and Ah-Cain (very hard K sound-it really comes from her gut). Abby gives great hugs these days. She's very generous with them. =) So nice to come home to. She plays pretend picture taking. She'll aim her index fingers like a camera and then ask if you want to see her picture by saying "see?". Then she says, "oh, tuute". If you ask her who she sees in the picture, she says Abby. She responds to "What's your name?" and "How old are you?" She's a lot more chatty on the phone (for obvious reasons).

Eat Up! (or not)

Uncle Chris came to visit last Thursday. They were playing with her pretend food. Abby kept shoving the onion into Chris' mouth. I thought I heard gagging... hmm... I wonder why.   Abby's repeating words and phrases like a pro... esp. Korean phrases grandma uses often, like "uh tuh keh"? (Now what? in Korean) and "yoh-nyun" (Korean... hard to translate what this means but she imitates the face my mom makes - it's hysterical). She's perfected the word Mah-ni now. She's a pro at spotting our SUV in the street. (Still not sure how she knows it's ours). She slept since 7pm today and I better get myself to bed cuz she might see the light in the office and get up.

Another line up...

You'll be seeing a lot of these shots with various stuffed animals... she's at least moved on to some of her other stuffed pals. Are you sick of ggeuhl ggeuhl, woh woh and fawhg yet? (She started saying fawhg last Thursday night). Andrew is washing the dishes in the kitchen... only evidence is the heel of his foot behind woh woh's head.

Mickey & "Ninnie"

Today, it was all about Mickey and "Ninnie". 

Picking her favs...

and making a run for it! Do you see the destruction she leaves behind? ha ha ha. 

New pals.

Her new additions are pictured below. She says a certain word for Mickey which I still can't remember... Abby calls Minnie, "Ninnie". It was while taking this picture that I understood "mah-yi" as mah-ni which means "a lot" in Korean. (Mommy's ah-ha moment).
