Abby's food list.

I'm happy to note that the bananas are officially back on the list...
I get so excited and then the next day she won't eat it.
She's been eating them in small servings for a week now. I don't want
her to get sick of it, so I give her 1/4 to 1/2 a banana.
And today, I reintroduced strawberries and she couldn't get enough!
In addition to that, I got her to eat steak! That's major progress...
she's no meat eater.
Ever since she discovered that she likes turkey bacon, she's been more
willing to try out new textures.
Today is a day of great progress!

Abby's current food list:
bananas
strawberries
grapes - on hold right now
Gerber peaches and apples
Gerber Graduates - strawberry strips (back from hiatus); juice treats
- fruit medley and tropical (she started liking them again in TX... I
had one pack left from home).
corn
Kix, Honeycomb, and Cheerios
Any kind of toast - Oat, multigrain, wheat
pancakes
turkey bacon (she'll eat bacon but we prefer to give her turkey bacon)
egg souffles - she'll eat anything in there... red peppers & scallions
with sour cream, parm cheese; spinach & garlic with ricotta.
wheat pasta with garlic and oil. tomatoes added are ok now.
rice - w/any kind of korean soup- meeyuhk, kong na muhl, mooh, spinach
and beef with garlic, beef with carrots, onions, garlic, broccoli
ghim
fish
seh ooh kkang
puffed rice cakes from Han Ah Rheum
wafers
ice-cream - Breyers strawberry is her favorite, but she also likes
vanilla, chocolate, dulce de leche by Haagen Dazs - this was her first
flavor.
organic chocolate milk - Horizon and Stoneyfield
all flavors of motts for tots juice - strawberry banana, white grape
apple juice, fruit punch, apple juice
OJ
steak (gotta try a few more times to know for sure)
chicken
sunflower seeds
Hershey's chocolate
water

Gotta add more as I remember... I'm kicking myself that I didn't keep
a better list. Abby is fascinated with typing the alphabet on a Word
doc. I set the font at 60 and caps locked so she can see what she's
typing and recognize the letters.

Deuces!!!! 4.18.08

Abby learned something new while in TX from my cousin Tina... Deuces! She still to this day will do this... it's evolved now to 2 index fingers over her head. =)

All dolled up... taken 4.25.08.

That big red blob she's looking up to is her father's hand in her red hoodie... I'm not quite sure what he was doing, but I wanted to capture a shot of her looking up. I saw her looking up at the plane yesterday at my grandmother's parking lot. Such wonder and fascination in her eyes. We were waiting for my uncle to come home as he wanted to see Abby before we left. Lots of planes fly by there. In the 20 minutes we were outside, I'd say about 6 planes flew by. It was also Friday... are there more flights then? All the planes were different... not the commercial planes... more privately owned ones.

Abby is sportin' her new dress and new white shoes from grandma. She found them at Marshall's yesterday. Dang, it's not easy finding shoes for her lately. I found a brown pair of sandals, but keeps falling off her feet... she doesn't like them.

Happy Earth Day!!!

So tired...
Andrew took this picture of Abby this morning.  She sat up, gave him a wave, then lay back down.  Then she got up, and lay back down.
He waited for her to sit up again, but she fell back asleep.  I think she's growing again.  Yesterday, she took a 2 hour nap and still slept fairly early.

It's Been Awhile...

My card reader fizzled out on me when I did get a chance to log on. We're preparing to fly out to Texas this week for 3 days. Short trip (please let it not feel like weeks!!! I'm terrified of flying with a 20-month old who refuses to sit still for a second, much less 3-4 hours on a plane!) to visit my relatives. My grandparents are flying in from S. Korea for my cousin's wedding and it's been awhile since I've seen them - 10 years, actually. I'll take the 3-4 hour ride anyday - a great trade off for not having to fly nearly 14 hours to make a trip to S. Korea!!!

Does anyone have some traveling pointers with a 20-month old?
