Today, she learned that if you were not white, you were not allowed to go to Burger King, or use the bathroom, or go anywhere because there would be a sign that said, "no blacks allowed".
She was very proud of her microphone.

After school today...

It's been awhile since I took a picture of her at school. I had the phone all read to snap. Dang, she runs fast! I only got this one shot before she almost knocked me down with her hug. Love when she does that. When she finds me from the crowd of parents, everyday she says, "mom-eeeee" and runs to give me a hug.
