02 how they look

Capture your loved one at their best (or at their worst).  Or both.  What you’re trying to capture is the TRUE essence/expression/attitude/posture that SCREAMS your loved one!  (and remember, your loved one can be ANYONE or any pet...and you don’t have to photograph the same person for each assignment)

some ideas for how they look:
  • facial expression
  • just out of bed
  • dressed for school/work
  • in pjs
  • in a typical outfit for them
  • funny face they make
  • them looking at something/someone
  • wearing glasses
  • them looking in mirror
  • how they look at you

Joy of Love - Day 1

Mine was a very short-lived take on the class. I fizzled out after the 3rd or 4th day.

They love to play on my iPhone... both of them get along when they do.

Assignment:
01: what they do
This can apply to anything your loved ones “do”….what do they do for work? What do they do for play? What chores do they do around the house? Find something they “DO” and document it.
If you are photographing your spouse/partner today, then focus on their job perhaps. If you are photographing your children, then focus on what they play or them “doing” school. If your subject is your dog, then show him playing (or sleeping). The possibilities for this prompt are endless, as we all “DO” something each day. SO, get out your camera and catch your loved one "DOING" something.

Some ideas for “what they do”

* working
* sleeping
* playing
* eating

Finishing off soup

Sent by Gomo. We are on our way home as I post this and she is OUT like a light. She kept asking if Connor was asleep. Once we confirmed he was by turning on the light in the car, she was quiet. When we looked back, she was sleeping. :)

She was in a great mood going home. She really enjoyed her time with Gomo. Even Andrew noticed what a great mood she was in.

Thanks Gomo for taking such great care of her, and all the goodies she is taking back home... Looks like the Curious George book will have to wait till tomorrow nite!

> Like a pro!

Enjoying her meeyuk gook and rice
