Unexpected pictures at Kiddie Kandids...

With the flooding in Wayne this past week, I was a little behind in my diaper shopping. After meeting up with Abby's grandparents and Aunt Soeun today, we headed over to Babies R Us to buy diapers. What we thought was going to be a quick run ended up being a few hours - taking pictures, diaper changing, eating, diaper changing, shopping, diaper changing... hee hee. Kiddie Kandids is having a promo right now where they give you a free 8x10 (plain picture) just for coming in. One of the KK salesperson told us about it. But wait! If you are interested, I have 4 vouchers that will give you a free 8x12 montage (a collage of 4 pictures) which is well over $25. It was unexpected, but Andrew and I are both glad she had the pictures taken - Abby was long overdue for a portrait. =) Here's some pictures of Abby from today... they're really fast with the online picture posting too!

Discovering as we go - Sleeping Tip #1

Abby just fell asleep... to snoring.

Andrew and I found out Abby falls asleep to the sound of snoring this weekend. On Saturday morning, Abby woke up as soon as we put her bottle in her mouth. Since she only drinks in her sleep, we instantly lay next to her and pretended to snore. Much to our surprise, she was fast asleep within minutes!!! (Jackpot!)

I do it!

Already, Abby insists on holding her water cup and drinking it by herself... good to know she still needs mommy... spilled some on the carpet though I didn't know it at the time.

Tummy Time - 4.4.07

It's been a long time since we've posted a tummy time picture... what a big difference!

Hi, Abby here!

Last week, Abby started standing all by herself against the wall. G-grandma & grandma has Abby doing all kinds of things while mommy & daddy are at work! ;)
She tried this out at the WELL yesterday and she got overwhelmed by the attention and began to cry.

Now she says "uhm-ma" which is Korean for mommy when she wants me to hold her. =)
She said "da-da" first, but not really referring to daddy.

Happy Easter!!!

8 months... 1st tooth on the way...

This past Sunday, I noticed that Abby's bottom right tooth had broken out through her gums... it explained the crankiness last week. She seems to be ok now... but gnawing at everything she can. Her tooth has definitely come out a lot more since Sunday. I'd say about 3 mm above her gums. Her 8 month check-up was this past Saturday and she weighed in at 20 lbs, 6 ozs and her head is now 18.3 cm (inches?) can't remember... if it's inches, I now see the reason for the doc's concern... hee hee. Actually, after letting my mom and grandmother know about the doc being concerned over Abby's rapid head growth, I came to find out that we have some BIG heads in our family.
