Wolfie in time out.

Should've left the books that were next to her and taken the picture before I put them away. I love that she loves to read. Her teacher at the parent/teacher conference last week said "she will go places with her writing." I hope Abby realizes what an amazing writer and illustrator she is!

Stuck in the rain

8.19.15
After Abby's play date at Chloe's, mom had an eye doc apptmt at 3:30pm.
Who knew this apptmt would mean we'd be stuck there until 9:30pm?
Roads were closed and we hardly moved 100 feet in an hour. When we got an out to a shopping mall, we took it. Michael's for 4 hours. We didn't venture out to other stores.
Abby read two books and mom bought too much yarn.

Back of Panera parking lot where we stopped off to eat and warm up - we were drenched from the crazy down pour.

Her first lesson in Java...

Minecraft Mod online class tonight...
She has my obsessive crafting passion in the form of coding her first custom sword in Minecraft. I had to stop her two minutes ago and her hard work crashed. :'(
Some tears and sniffling tonight as she lays in bed. I can hear her now sniffling as I was about to sleep.
Pushes herself so much! I tried to console her that I didn't even get to Java and did basic coding in my 20's, in college - a whole semester later, and she learned it last summer in like 10 minutes. *sigh* this gave her a little chuckle, but I could see the disappointment in her face.
Tomorrow dear. With much rest and a second look, you'll figure it out!!! #toopastyourbedtimetothinkstraight

Teacher appreciation gifts

Only 2 gifts I managed to take pictures of before it was out the door.
