Happy 3rd Birthday, Abby!!!

Today, Abby is three! I have pictures from today that I will post soon. She started the day at 6:30am today-too excited to sleep I guess. :)
Took me almost until 11am to get the birthday girl out of her PJ's, showered, and dressed for her special day.
Grandma Chung, great-grandma, and uncle Jonny stopped by to celebrate the day. The weather held out but birthday girl had her own plans... She didn't want to go out to the park after lunch but wanted to be a home body. She told us, "nobody there... No-body!"
So we spent the rest of the day at home after a brief outing for lunch...
Now birthday girl is asleep... A quiet snore.

Potty Training in Full Swing!!!

I totally did not expect this, but at 3am this morning, she woke me up twisting and really uncomfortable... I asked her if she needed to go to the potty and she replied with, "I'm scared"... she usually says this before she goes, so I asked her again... do you need to go potty? She answered yes. This would've been the usual morning "pee" in her training pants - as soon as she sat on the potty, she went almost instantly. She was scared of wetting her only training pants left I think.

Last night when I went to pick her up, she was delighted to see half a pack of her training pants in the car seat.... to which Grandma Josephina said, "oh, hahl muh nee is going to throw it away in the garbage! no more diapers!" Abby responded with a sigh, but repeated, "in the garbage".

I think she took that to heart as she went to sleep and was almost stressed out that she wouldn't have anymore training pants if she wet it. I felt so bad for her though... she was half asleep, stressed out, and sitting on the potty in the bright bathroom light. We have a night light ready for tonight just in case.

After reading up and trying out the potty boot camp, I think I like this method. I just hope she keeps progressing along!

As of yesterday, one accident (and it was unexpected by my mom cuz she had just gone potty) and 5 successes... 4-#1's, 1-#2. She had no problems going #2 on Sunday afternoon when we got home from church so maybe it will not be so bad.
