Used LR for this effect. Made some changes to the overall look of the blog. So much to learn, but a step in the right direction towards the look I'm going for (though it keeps evolving).

Trying out LR again. I haven't read anything so I'm sure I'm making things a lot harder than it is. I tweaked, then brought into CS3 and polarized. I like the effect but her ponytail is no longer visible. Her pony tail is so long...

More 2 year photos...

We took Abby to the Kiddie Kandids studio yesterday and we got no smiles.  Just a confirmation for me that I did the right thing taking her photos myself.  We narrowed it down to 5 and only one was something I may have bought.  Why did we take her there?  They offer a free 8x10 for birthdays.  I haven't been back  there since last April.  She was a bit more cooperative last year, but still no smiles.  We bought a package (eagerness of first time parents, I guess) and in the end, I wondered why I didn't take them myself.
