Been reflecting on the past year today since service and there's so much to be thankful for... the year just flew by... too quickly.

Post-Christmas Day...

I'm pre-posting this for today. This is where I sat her down for her Christmas pics this year. The lighting seems to be great in this spot (our living room) when I can get my camera settings right. I think too much light here though. I love her skinny jeans from grandma Chung. They fit perfectly in her big girl boots this year.  Pictures to follow of her boots... hopefully soon!  =)

Merry Christmas. 2008

Our cards this year. I finally managed to create my own design this year on PS and to buy her dress early, take her picture early, AND send them out early to family and friends. I used Cherie Mask's December 2008 desktop wallpaper for the background. The strip in the back was just a new strip with the color pixel matching a part of Abby's dress. I matched the fonts in the same color. I printed 5x7 prints at Scrapbookpictures.com. They give you an option to get envelopes to fit the pictures for about 10 cents more. $2 shipping no matter what the order. They have some great prices on larger prints (like 20x30!).

Lil WELL had their Christmas party this past Sunday... I have a few more pictures to go through, but after finishing up the wrapping and winding down on the last few gifts has me exhausted. I just wanted to post a quick one before Christmas comes and goes.

...if I got a shot w/o the bangs mid-forehead. I LOVE the shot of her hair and her dress. She looks like a little doll.

Looks so young...

I guess it's the facial expression she's making, but she looks so young here... and sassy.

Oops.

 I had her sitting on the edge of the couch and she fell backwards. The shot I did get before she fell back, she looked like she had no torso because most of her behind was already close to landing on the couch seat. haha. Here's the picture before she fell back. Picture is a little blurry. Immensely dislike it when that happens.

I loved the curls in her hair, but I didn't like the background.

I love this one, but you can't quite see her face. Can't you just hear the parents saying, "Why did you use that picture? You can't even tell it's Eh-by!  Her face is covered up!"

80's 'do.

Believe it or not, this hair-do was once pretty hip - at least in my 6th and 7th grade mind! I was just trying to get her bangs out of her eyes so she could brush her teeth (maybe that's how I got my do in the 80's? Andrew got a shot of her while she's looking at herself in the mirror after brushing her teeth and washing her face.

 Huge relief... just ordered this year's Christmas cards online after chasing Abby around all day taking pictures. Spending the day with her had me in stitches! I'll be posting some outtakes soon. Some were hilarious...! (to me, anyway).

Disney On Ice...

Instead of joining in the hustle and bustle of Black Friday, we went out to Disney On Ice. Thanks Uncle Chris!

"I do it". She wanted to come down the stairs all by herself. 

She fell asleep on the ride over. We were worried she'd sleep through the show. 

Killing time. We took turns taking pictures while Abby was sleeping.
