Whenever my kids are all riled up before bed, I have Abby start off the letters of the alphabet. Connor repeats each letter after her until the end. Tonight, he's really uncooperative and you can hear an annoyed older sister trying to get her younger brother to keep focused or get his letters right. Lol.

This a.m.

Still on her "I feel pretty" kick...
Her brother is now onboard.

A cute thing she did this a.m. -
When Connor wouldn't drink his milk this morning, she told him all the benefits of drinking milk... Strong bones, lots of energy, growing big and tall. Oddly enough, he listened to her as if he understood and finished his milk. She's such a great older sis to him. And I'm so glad we have her to talk to him about the great benefits of drinking milk. Maybe it's not so bad that she watches Nick Jr or Disney channel. Noticed they have commercials about eating healthy. Being the sponge that she is, she soaked up all that info. Lol.

That's a classmate named Connor helping her before school started for day 3. But when she let go, she plopped down on the floor. Lol.

Day 3...

Still liking school and happy.
We stopped by our home today where dad and P. Rich was rebuilding the bottom of the playground set.
Fave Abby phrases of the day:
1. Connor, don't eat too many sausages or else you are going to turn into one! (and she meant every word of it)
2. Mommy, why do I have to do all the chores? You are like my step mom. (and this is from watching too much Cinderella, I think). And guess what she was doing? Scoring her own cards she wanted to make while I worked.

Had her TB test on rt forearm, MMR on rt shoulder, flu shot on left shoulder.
The Rapunzel stickers and pink and white swirl lollipops, plus all the fairy stickers made it all better.
She's usually better at the docs, but an upset stomach plus diarrhea set off her mood. Still such a trooper!!!

Cheese Factory...

Didn't find much at Gymboree.
After late lunch, early dinner? Is doc appointment. Then hair cuts!!! Can't wait!!! Both of us need it for sure.

Bath

Abby and I are going on a mommy & me date today. She has her 5 year checkup and then we're going to get her hair trimmed and possibly get some back to school clothes shopping.
