Maritime Aquarium, Norwalk, CT

Abby's 2nd birthday was spent at the Maritime Aquarium... Watching the seals...
Then the frogs...A tiki aquarium...Also spotted a little Abby starfish...A seahorse.Snake up close...Peppermint shrimp...Splashed by the rays...Ray petting area...
A seal (way left) named Susie... eyes are white because she has cataracts.
Kids from camp were there so we got to listen in.

Jellyfish... Abby did not like them.

Sharks...

Goofy faces. She must get that from me.

Jellyfish in the form of someone's unflattering orange shorts and legs.
Maybe that's why she didn't like them!

16-year-old tortoise/sea turtle (debated what to call it over dinner with Jonny and Andrew). It's almost at it's full size.
Also both of these pics are SOOC. So proud of my manual setting accomplishment but it went down hill from here (this was the first tank we saw).

See what I mean?

Abby was all smiles seeing both grandmas. She really missed them this week.
At B.C.D.4 generations.Securing her green tea cake...Uncle Jonny earns a kiss from her for the super-motorized dirt bike.Look at this smile. She's getting better at this. Not flinching her eyes anymore.Still a little afraid of the candles.

Abby had a busy 2nd birthday... A long car ride to the aquarium and back, dinner at B.C.D. and then home to have green tea roll - didn't quite remember where Paris Baguette was (a slice of their cake with 2 candles would've been nice). We live in Korea town. Can we get anymore Korean than that?
