Scared... of grandpa. Memorial Day - 5.26.2008

The event that caused this face was grandpa fly-swatting her dad's knee to kill a fly.
We're not quite sure if it was the swatting that scared her or the fact that her grandpa swatted her dad. She clung to her dad for quite some time afterwards though as if she felt bad for him. I can tell you she hesitated to approach grandpa a few times after this happened!

Serenity...

I ventured out taking pictures in "running man" or Action Mode on my Canon SLR.

I took this challenge after reading Ali's blog a few weeks ago.

Sleeping & eating at the same time... now that's what I call Multi-tasking!

I stayed home today to watch Abby while my mom got her car checked and fixed...
Went to Babies R Us, returned a few crafty items, and we were in a little traffic on the way home...
It was lunch time so I gave Abby her fries and chicken nuggets from Wendy's while waiting...
I didn't realize she was on the verge of falling asleep though! I waited to video as we were still slightly moving, but when we were at a dead stop, this is what I got on my phone.
It was hilarious! I was chuckling out loud all alone like a lunatic.

This is Abby talking to her dad earlier this week... like a little teen, she sat up, laid down on the bed, walked around the bedroom...

Believe it or not, this was not a posed shot... we were just hanging outside and I was taking pictures... Abby was running towards me and I thought it was funny how everyone was standing there, pretty much as if someone lined them up that way!!! I really like it! hee hee...
Our family will notice something disappeared that's really there next to Patty... a little Photo magic... and I brightened up the picture a bit.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

All the mother's received this pretty Gerber daisy at the WELL today. Learning to get more details in my shots... I use the flash for everything that I bleach the heck out of the pretty details. This picture is cropped, but otherwise totally untouched.

but I FINALLY got it on camera!

What a beautiful day it was! Mags, Abby and I went for a walk around
Palisades Park... did a good solid hour walking and treated ourselves
to dinner and ice-cream. =)
